Some of my trees ha e started dropping some leaves as of a out two weeks ago. The only color changes is that my dogwoods have gotten kind of rusty looking...but, it's still basically green here in southern Middle Tennessee.

It just looks like July here in Murfreesboro. And for the rest of the week it's probably going to feel like it, too.

As of Monday 9-28 in Bristol the trees are 99.9999% green. Only the earliest changing maples are showing hints of color at this point, but with 40s in the forecast, that will probably rapidly change.

I noticed even on Holston Mountain (southeast of Bristol) (around 4000 ft) most still appear to be all green at this point.

It's going to be in the 40s, tonight and tomorrow. That ought to set things in motion.

Looks like the fall colors are beginning to start in my area...southern Middle Tennessee!

I had to drive today from Fayetteville area to Tullahoma and notice that many of the trees were beginning to get a yellowish cast to them, some of the (I think) sumac trees were looking pretty red as well as some kind of vine that climbs trees. (Not kudzu!)

With the weather forecast, changes ought to start pretty quick!
If it's looking like this here, most of the rest of the state ought to be fairly well along,
