Default Any good haunts in Tenn. ?

Does any one know of places to go and shoot some pictures or take some E.M.F. readings in rural Tenn. without any hassles? We have logged many miles on info gathered on the web but nothing has proven fruitful. I live about 20 min. for the infamous "Purdy Cemetary" and going by some web sites its suppose to be "very haunted" but do not waste your gas. I've hit more dead end's via the net and also gone to many civil war sites as well as Adams Tennessee's so called "cave" but was not impressed, I guess what I'am looking for is some old farm house, cemetary and etc. that you locals know about and not necessilary widely known about, because I now believe alot if not all the spooky and haunted places people boost on the web are just hot air and never really meant to be more than the "lace curtain" they really are. I like off the beaten path certainly nothing inside a city's limits or right across the road from someone's house. Any good locations are considered with descent directions and it's not all just haunted happenings but a creepy location that would offer some kind of excitement. If you can think of any places still in a safe condition hit me back!

Chickamauga Battlefield, the Wilder tower. I have never seen the "haint" but supposedly it is there. Haint or no, it's spooky! As you drive through the battlefield, the fog/mist comes towards you in pea soup thick sheets and there are VERY few people about after dark. Actually we have encountered not a living soul on any of our trips there in the moonlight. Turn your lights off on the lane and watch for the black cat...

Well, possibly he/she is a shapeshifter lol It was really a black cat just down from the tower crossing the r/r tracks. Scared the pants off of us lol I don't know what I would do if I saw the real Green Eyes! EEK
