Guy things to do in Tn?
What "Manly" events are there to do in Tn coming from Cookeville. For example: Drag races, Dirt circle tracks, mud bogs, monster trucks, etc? I think there is a nice dragway in Nashville. One in Bristol and in Bowling Greens Ky that I've been to. What about Off Road places to ride buggies and ATVs.
Really looking for Guy thing to do other than Hunting and fishing. I'm looking forward to the hunting and fishing cause the hunting down here is bad.
Thanks James L.

There's a dirt circle track just outside of Cookeville near Baxter, right next to I-40, and there's a drag strip near Crossville.
The mini-baja team at Tennessee Tech has won numerous national championships. I bet someone there could tell you about some good places around Cookeville where you can ride your ATV.

There is also "The fastest dirt track" (or so they claim) in Bulls Gap TN (Just north of Greeneville) Most towns also have a rodeo once or twice a year here in East TN. yes, Bristol Motor Speedway not only has the Nasscar races a few times a year, but about every weekend they have drag races.

Yeah I don't think you'll have any problems finding "guy" things to do here in Tennessee. And you might also be surprised at how many women also like doing some of those "guy" things. Last time I was at the dirt track outside of Cookeville, there were quite a few ladies in the stands. Pretty cool.

I love dirt tracks! The first one I went to was in Cleveland, TN. I'm not sure if the Atomic Speedway will open this year. I heard it was up for sale. It is over near Kingston. Anyone else know of any dirt tracks?

70,000 acres....? For real?
That's like a hundred-plus square miles.... 10 miles x 10 miles.
Wow.

Budong,
You are incorrect! It's 72,000 acres. Here is a link to the ATV club that controls the area.

Great find though

Are the drag strips there 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile. Up here they are all 1/4 and I like them. Never raced on the 1/8 though.
