Default Sparta
I'll be retiring soon and am in the process of selling my over-sized home in Goodlettesville, in favor of a smaller, inexpensive home in, or around, Sparta. I'm of an age where I'd like peace and quiet, yet not be far removed from the basic necessities a retiree would need...shopping and medical care. I've driven through Sparta many times, but I'd appreciate some feedback from folks who live, have lived, or are familiar with, the area.

Sparta is a nice area. Very quite and shopping is close by. Super Walmart very close and hosp also close by. Move now when the going is good.

Sparta is a nice area, my step-sister lives there. You are not very far from Cookeville to the north or Mcminnville and Tullahoma to the south where you have great shopping opprotunities. I'm not sure on medical care there but I know theres hospitals nearby.
