Mrs.1885, You are much to cheery sounding about winter coming.....
There wasn't a frost that I noticed when I got up at 7 a.m. here in Knoxville.
Where are you located?
Pam

I'm in the mountains outside of Spencer. I moved here thinking I'd be miserable. I grew up in extreme southwest Florida and started shivering at 75 degrees. But I love it!!!

We're overdue for a bad winter here in the mid-state.

I'm hoping for alot of snow this year but would settle for snow on Christmas.

This is my favorite time of the year. It got down to 39 a few nights ago in Hendersonville ( outside of Nashville )

It was freeeeeeeezing here in NETN. I went out for work around 5:45. It was dark, cold as hell, and I had to scrape my windshield with gloves on.

*sighs happily* I love winter.

Tonight's low is only around 40, but tomorrow night's 34!!!

Last year, my windsheild had a leak in it and everytime I had to scrape the outside, I also had to scrape the inside...

Oh, wow. That sucks major. I've been around Nashville a lot but never really in the winter/had a car there in the winter. Does it frost nightly? Here you more or less scrape continuously from Nov-Feb...

Usually it's the worst in December, January, and February but it's been known to start earlier and run later. Usually the plateaus and the areas north of Nashville get the best ( or worst depending on who you are ) winter weather.

You are way to happy about this. We actually had frost yesterday morning and this morning. I don't mind the cold as much as days without sun but I really hate when we change the clocks. Now that's depressing.

EXACTLY the same here at my house! The low was 37°. There was a light frost only on a couple of the cars, but my car was only dew. That was strange. Anyway, we finally had or first frost.
