Thumbs up Back from Tennessee

Hello Everyone,

We returned home from Tennessee on Tuesday night. I did not want to leave. The fall color was beautiful, especially the last few days we were there. We visited our property in Cumberland Cove along with 2 of the parks in Cumberland Cove. We were able to meet a couple who will be our closest neighbors when we move to Cumberland Cove. We also visited Fall Creek Falls and Standing Stone State Parks. Three of our nights were spent in a really nice romantic cabin on a large pond in Muddy Pond, TN. We took the train ride through the Hiwassee River Gorge, but we were a little disappointed. We did not see as much fall color there as we had hoped. Much of the view of the Hiwassee River was obstructed by trees along the railroad track. We drove around the Cookeville area including Tennessee Tech University campus and also drove around Monterey and Crossville. We also visited relatives in Knoxville and Clarksville. This trip has made me even more anxious to move to Tennessee. Unfortunately, our move cannot happen for at least another 6 years. I'm trying to be patient.

Here are a few of the pictures we took:

Hi gingerpeaches,

I've already returned from Tennessee. See my e-mail from earlier today. You will likely find information on and pictures of Cookeville, Monterey, and Crossville, TN on this forum if you do a search for threads with those town/city names.
