Gang: Still Green foliage trees UP on the Cumberland Plateau, Wed Oct 29th.
Got $2.32/gal gas and drove right up to base of the Soddy-Daisy / MontLake Fire Tower, Signal Mtn area of North Chattanooga.

.Remember one of these as a teenager near uncle in Grafton , New York near Bennigton , Vt. New Resident Josh in Bristol sparked interest. Also a few mag articles this summer , Southern Living, etc.

. Wooden stairs are quite WEATHERED and it is a open , at own RISK policy
not for small kids, but close picnic foliage drive up hairpin road,. Also near Hike Cumberland trail crossing and country general store.

..Undiscovered Gem of quiet neighborhoods close by all along Poe rd.

. Yesterday newspaper had good article out of McClemore Cove ,Ga where state , acquired 1,840 acres of the Mtn Cove Farm parcel to connect TWO of their mtn preserves in the Civil War tract of Pigeon -Lookout mtn for $10.5 million. More article link here.

Great pics and post Split. Loved the tidbit about McClemore Cove too. It's one of my MOST favorite places to cruise. We have a NEW cd member living pretty close to there. Maybe she'll show up
