Default chapel hill

I was mailed information on marshall county TN. Does anyone know what this area is like. Chapel Hill seems real nice, but I have never been there. Also I was looking at houses which price wise do not seem to bad.

thanks

Default Chapel Hill

I lived in Spring Hill, which is just about 6 or 7 miles from Chapel Hill until was was 18. My Mother still lives there. 20 years ago they both were just wide spots in the road but Saturn Cars put a plant in Spring Hill and it took off. It has every thing there now, shopping malls, hospitals, etc. They are about 45 minutes to Nashville and a couple of hours from Chattanooga or Knoxville. There are beautiful horse farms around that area. If you type in Spring Hill Tenn and hit search it will bring up lots of info. I now live in SC but Middle Tenn is a beautiful area.

Smile chapel hill resident

Hi, I saw your post while doing a websearch, and I am from Chapel Hill in northern Marshall County. I love living here, the schools are great, my 14 year old is in our award-winning marching band, and the location is convenient to Franklin, Columbia, and Nashville. There is still a lot of really nice property available at prices much cheaper than Spring Hill and Franklin area offerings, and we are still a country town. Hope you pay us a visit!

I went to school for 5th grade and was kinda in shock as everyone there (this is more than 20 years ago now) was very country...I mean all the guys would argue about which tractor was the best! I never had a problem with any of them and are still friends with most, but whoa! Tractors?!
Short communte to south nashville years ago...my dad worked off mufreesboro road back in the 70's. We lived about 8 miles south of chapel hill. I can't tell you what traffic is like now. Duck river is right there and has awesome paddling water.

Helix probably knows my ex; he went to school there 20 years ago. At the time there were about 24 people in his graduating class, but we are bigger now! The traffic isn't bad right now; it's dreadful in Spring Hill and Franklin. There are a lot of new subdivisions going in around town, but I live about 15 minutes out of town in the country. There are still 2 canoe liveries nearby, and the canoe trips are a blast. We also have a state park nearby with a great pool and golf course.

Just had to pop in and kinda connect with a Chapel Hill resident.
My grandparents and great grandparents lived there. Bill and Roberta Redmond and Nelson and Lois Smith. Haven't been back since they all passed away. I'ma city girl myself, but I miss the 2 weeks of rolling hills and small town quiet we got when we came to visit. Guess I'm feeling nostalgic today....

Little late on this but I bought a home in Chapel Hill (caney springs) a couple months ago and plan to move into it and live there full time in the next couple years. I fell in love with the area immediately and plan to relocate and enjoy the beauty of middle TN. I am leaving Las Vegas, NV happily for Chapel Hill.
