Question Any info on South Eastern TN?

Like between Chat. and Knox. areas. We are thinking of a move in the next year or so. Hows the weather in that part of TN? Any tornados, snow, ice etc? Is there acerage for sale there too? Any modular homes in these areas or are they built from the ground up?

But I need to learn! I am also bringing my entire family with their spouses and children, so good schools are important, along with jobs. Are there a Michaels craft stores or Home Depot in this region?

I know lots of questions!

Thanks in advance for any imput!

Smile No, Yes,No,Yes and Double Yes.

FF, Thought your handle name was from L.I. or Troy NY., but also prior Fla.
Sat night will know more about tornadoes, but west section<Memphis or north KY border with flater land more ripe cond than mtn plateau.
We had 2 inch SNOW storm this month that closed schools, but usually melts by later in day so ICE is really a NO in the S.E. region of state. Higher N.C. altitude will have ICe.
YES much acerage here and all types of housing available from $70 K to $2 million near deep water river.
Michales arts and craft all over in malls, along with region family owned A.C. MOORE, very big activity for church groups and guilds.
Region is Waiting any day for announcement if new TOYOTA plant will be built in that region along I-75. PRESident BUSH was in region Wed with all the MEDICAL growth in s.e. part of state.

Any region you can guide me to for land or a small farm? I want chickens ( just some for fresh eggs) and don't want my neighbors getting upset! Plus a veggie garden for family use.

Fulton Fish/South Street Sea Port is in NYC. Hubby worked there for over 35 years, hence the nick!

Default NE Cleveland -Target.?

FF. More articles in todays paper about $90 million project for Cleveland, so this region is certainly being discovered or developed. I would say on the North or East side of Cleveland farm land should be in fair , plentiful supply. Also popular in summer with rafter / rental people going to Ocoee river white water activity.

Thanks so much!
What about Sweetwater, Madisonville or Mt. Vernon?
Any ideas on the weather there? I'm sure it cannot be any worse that FL. humid weather in summer. But what about winters aka snow/ice?

Thanks bunches!
