Searching Eastern Tennessee (Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Maryville: for sale, purchase, live in)

My family and I are looking to relocate to Tennessee from Mississippi soon, we are in the planning stages now with a visit planned in the next couple weeks to East Tenn. I have gathered alot of info from the forum about the areas where I think we will be doing most of our searching. But I have some questions about property values and job opportunities. Is there any good places to get info on land for sale. We would like to build and we have lots of animals. Are jobs hard to come by, I am in government now and would like to stay with this profession. I really like the Maryville area(Blount County) and plan on starting there, does anyone have another area to throw out for me to search before our trip? Thanks

Seymour is very small, yet the highway goes straight to downtown Knoxville, as well as 411 going into Maryville. Most of the smaller towns are nice, my parents live in Kingston, convenient to Oak Ridge and West Knoxville.
