Wilder Mountain TN
Just trying to find out about Little Piney Creek in the Wilder Mountain area.
We purchased 19 acres 2 1/2 years ago and are waiting on power to be brought in. Does anyone know anything about this area?

I'm just guessing seeing theirs two Wilder Mountains from what I have read in TN. Their is the Town of Wilder just North of Cookeville, That also from what I read has a Mountain... in Fentress County.
This is the Chamber Site and if you scroll down the local utilities are listed with a link..
Fentress County Chamber of Commerce
The other Wilder is down near Chattanooga and is HOA / POA .....
This is the link for Rhea County TN that Wilder Mountain is in.............
http://www.rheacountyetc.com/ Click on Local Links and scroll and find the Utilities the power company is listed.

We live in the Wilder Mountain Subdivision for almost 3 years now and have 4 lots one which we live on. What info if any would you like to know about? Several homes being built right now and when the spring is here a few more homes should be getting started too.

I believe power has been established on all the secondary roads. It is up to you to get it to your house and VEC will allow you I believe two poles for free, after than you have to pay for them.
Little Piney is the other side of Wilder Mountain, closer to Cooktown road if I'm not mistaken. I wasn't aware that Wilder Mountain went that far north, but Big Piney Creek is on the north side of Wilder Mountain.

Thank you to all of the Wilder Mountain property owners who have written us. Spring time is here and everthing is about to bloom! Just an FYI for everyone. If you have financed property please register your Purchase Agreement with the Fentress County Clerk of Courts for them to have on file, this protects you and your rights to the property that you have financed.

Why are so many lots for sale in Wilder Mtn?
Buyer's remorse? Are there problems up there?
