Have I missed anything?
Sounds like the area I'm living in, already - except for no state income tax, and tax on food. Gee, I feel right at home already! Thanks for making me feel more comfortable, Laura!

I still like LauraC's idea of putting a mobile home at the Tennessee line. The people that don't care about such things will keep coming. The other's will turn back!

Heck, that won't stop us. I used to live in a mobile home. When I said that all of that sounds like home, it really is! People helping neighbors, looking out for one another, church activities ruling our social life, hunting, fishing (both girls and boys, with photo's in the paper), - heck, that's just plain country! Only in TN, the weather's milder and there's no state income tax, so besides the fact that I only have a slight southern accent from living on the PA / WV line and visiting relatives in WV, we should fit right in. Well, except for me being a petite brown-eyed brunette, tho. Gee, think I'll get shunned for that?? sniff.... Well, that's something for diversity - I'll put up a sign in my front yard saying 'Brunette Power!' or 'Brunette's Really Are Smarter!' We brunettes just gotta stick together and bring brunette power into Tennessee!! LOL!

Truthfully, the area we live in, 40+ miles north of Pittsburgh, it's lower cost of living, lower wages, and as I said, pure country folk - missing teeth, beat up pick up truck, and all of the previous vehicles you've owned your entire life sitting in your front yard - yep, we're used to it.

blessings, Shen

Yep, that's why we're welcoming you! We're hoping the mobile homes will deter the snobs. Of course, there are some that will want to MOVE the mobile home! Bleah!

We'll just set it in concrete, put a few junkers in the front yard up on concrete blocks. That and don't forget the stench of ramps - that's sure to turn the snobs away!

That's right Shen! Power to the Dark Haired ones. Now if they just don't start singing "Short People Got No Reason To Live". We'll be alright

LOL!! We'll just have to start a campaign for short people then.

The pro's of being vertically challanged:

1. You don't have to reach far when something drops.
2. Don't make me mad, your 'sensitive areas' are well within my reach.
3. We can crawl into areas you can't even see.

blessings, Shen
