Public servants such as Metro police officer Christy Dedman and state Trooper Todd Larkins were killed by move over law violators.

Yep, I live down the road from the sister of Tenn. Trooper Lynn Ross that was killed when struck from behind while sitting in his patrol car on I-40 a few years ago and I heard he actually succome to his vehicle catching fire rather than the initial impact of the truck that struck him. Very tragic way to go indeed.
