New store in Cookeville.
A ALDI store has been built and now I waiting for it to open. I have no idea when that will be.

This is great news! I used to shop at Aldi all the time when I lived in France. It's a no frills kind of grocery store, but the prices are unbelievable and the quality is good. I wish they'd come to Knoxville, but I'm glad they're finally in Cookeville. I think they've been planning that store for a couple of years now.

The store is not open and the weird thing about the store it hasn't been stocked with food yet or anything. I'm wondering if Krogers across the street has something to do why this store isn't opened?

One opened near me in Central FL and milk is $2.79 and canned veggies are 49 cents.

I stopped by ALDI to ask if they were hiring yet. I talked to a man that was working on the building. He said that they will be opening sometime in March.

You must have missed my post a few months ago. Aldi's will be opening in Knoxville in February on Schaad Road, next to Home Depot. They were recently hiring and the pay was VERY good. Maybe no one told them they can get away with less down here?
Anyway, glad to bring you some good news. I can't wait to check them out!

Oh, no problem! I was just teasing. Honestly, I bet you didn't even see the post. I think it was buried in that huge thread about stores coming to Knoxville.
Either that or senility is starting to set in. If so, then welcome to my world. It's all down hill from here!
They are really taking a long time building Aldi's, though.
