Default Can Anyone Tell Me About Huntingdon?

Yet another Floridian looking to relocate. My husband and I found the perfect place but its in Huntingdon which looks like its in tornado alley. Does anyone know about this town? We don't want to go from bad to worse but the property is beautiful and the home is exactly what we're looking for. Like everyone said the E TN areas are getting too pricey for what we'd like. Can anyone help us?

I lived up near Huntington for a few years back in the mid-90's. That whole area of West Tennessee is nice, with very kind, salt-of-the-earth type people living there. Just realize that it is very small town/rural South there. People in those parts live a very laid back, slow life. They are quite religious, conservative and some of the biggest Vol fans you have ever seen.

Unfortunately you are correct about Huntingdon being "tornado alley". There have been several tornadoes that came through in the last few years. It's a nice little town though.
