Our snow forecast was a bust. 1-2 was forecasted, but not one flake here in Bristol stuck on the ground and it was flurries at most.
I do have a friend thought that lives near the Virginia-West Virginia state line (near Bluefield) which is about 2 hours northeast of here and she said she had 2 inches of snow this morning.

You know, it's truly odd where snow falls and where it doesn't. In mountain city, it seems to snow all the time, nashville, not much. In northwest Arkansas, snows all the time, Memphis, never. Knoxville, rarely, but in Sieverville, I hear it snows a lot. I really need to understand the weather patterns and why..... odd.

I hear they are forcasting ice around TN now. Please get your cameras ready. Also, if you have some pictures from the past, please post!

I got nothing. NOTHING!! Grrr!!!
Left work, flurries. Got to the Smyrna / LaVergne area and it was coming down in buckets on I24. Traffic slowed to about 10 MPH. All I could think was my house would be covered and I'd have to tunnel in to the front door. Then I get just outside of Murfreesboro heading out Hwy 70S toward Woodbury and it stops!!!
Not a single blasted flake hit my dang yard. argh!!!
The next day headed back to work:

You know, seeing that picture reminded me of when I was a kid. Every year we'd drive to Texas from TN for Christmas and it always seemed to be freezing outside. I loved when we'd drive through the rock cuts in the hills and the seeping natural springs would freeze and create these beautiful frozen displays that looked like crystal castles. It was always something that captured my attention. I kept looking for the biggest one. There were some that were 20' tall and 6-10' in diameter. Looks like a waterfall was frozen in place. Amazing.
That's the stuff I miss from TN.
