Default Fatal KAYAK-Creeking paddle, North Chatt.

Sad news out of Chattanooga tonight with the recovery of a kayaker body from Thursdays storms. Cumberland Plateau dry creeks got flowing pretty good after 4 1/2 inches of rain over a two day period.
.. Seems a solo (Never a good idea) creeker went for a run down NOrth Chick , Whitewater Kayaking and Rafting Rivers in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, Kentucky and never returned home or into work later that day . Body found Saturday , two days later. Always a good idea to leave a detailed float plan location with friends if being around rocks.
Times Free Press Nespaper should have article on Sunday . ?

Floating in mid-December in that area of fast moving waters is never a good idea even without the recent torent of rain.
