Billion Dollar Expansion in Clarksville
Governor Bredesen will be in Clarksville today to officially announce the $1 billion expansion by HSC (which is owned by Dow Corning).
Even though the Volkswagen plant and Nissan moving its headquarters made a bigger splash, this will actually be the largest single investment by a company in Tennessee history.

I notice that John1960 also posted the news with a link to the story on WTVF.

I think this is great news for all of Tennessee, but especially Clarksville! It's good to see that the town is branching out beyond the military base. I also hope this means it'll become cheaper to install solar panels in the near future.

Yes! Good news that a company that makes solar panels is coming to our state!! Hopefully more people will start making use of the free energy coming from that big shining yellow thing up in the sky. Well, maybe not today, due to the rain..
