Default Paris/Springville

We recently bought property in Springville, TN and I was wondering if there was anyone in that area that would like to let us know how thing run there... community, schools, jobs, etc ... Myself and my mom are both Teacher Assistants currently, and I would love to get into teaching. My little brother and sister will be 6th and 8th grade so ... middle/high schools in the area... I'd appreciate any info that you have! Thank You!!!

Here's the website for the Henry County School Board:

http://www.henry.k12.tn.us/

The local newspaper is:

http://www.parispi.net/index.php

It doesn't have a section for employment but you can click on some of the links for an idea of how things are run in the county seat. Good luck in in Tennessee!

There are 2 school systems here--The County system and the Paris Special School District. If you live in the rural areas, yo ugo to the county system, in the city you use city schools until 9th grade, then go to a school that is just 9th grade--then on to the high school. The 9th grade alone is a great system, keeps the younger 9th graders away from the older kids in HS. Should be a lot of employment opportunities, as there are lots of schools.
