The biggest towns on TN side are LaFollette at the west end of the Powell valley, and Harrogate at the east end.

Our place is along the southern edge of the valley, closer to LaFollette, with a lovely view of the mountains. I would add a pic of the view from our place, but it looks like I have to have the pic on a website first.

Hello!Thank You for the information! We are looking into a property in the Speedwell area. The realtor said the property was closer to Harrogate. We were actually confused after talking to her,lol & she didn't seem to like the property much either. We just want to be in an area where we can wonder off into some mountains, when we can,but again we have no idea what parts of these Lovely mountains in this area are owned?

One reason for me to head to Tennessee.... Just to wonder off into the mountains and find a "Real Tree" to hug........
