Haha,
I've lived in Savannah for the past 15 years, and yes, it does have torando actvity, but if you live out of the city limits, such as, on highway 64 out towards Olive hill.. it doesn't get as bad out there.
Savannah doesn't have very many job opportiunities,
You'd probably have to reside in Selmer or Adamsville if you couldn't find anything in Savannah.
(oh yeah, I'm only 17, don't take my advice if you don't want to, just a suggestion though)
So yeahh.
As the person before me said, if you are used to big city life and such, Savannah isn't the place for you if you wish to not change your surroundings. No one is really driving through the town at 2. Am except for the few of us roudy teens that are a little stir crazy and like going down the the river at night.

The schools are actually pretty good with. you wouldn't expect such good quailty from such a small town school, but it's actually high rated in Tennessee.

One tornado doesn't make it tornado alley
people don't move to a small town because they are looking for entertainment. But if you are into country music, country dancing, fishing and swiming you will find it there. People also like "4-wheeling" and boating (all kinds of water sports).
I was born and raised in Savannah, TN. It it is a beautiful area with a huge sparkling river, lots of trees and hills. Lots of friendly people and "fish fry's"
