Default Silver Stream in Nolensville

My family and I are moving to the "Nashville" area and I have been looking at the Silver Stream subdivision. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the actual subdivision itself is like. We have a 2 year little girl that loves to go outside, so I'm wondering if there are walking trails, parks or other recreational things to do. Does anyone know if they have a website? If that subdivision doesn't really have anything like that, does anyone know one that does? Thanks for all your help!

Bumping this thread because I've come across the same area online and am wondering the same things... We are moving to the Nashville area this summer and our concerns are 1) safety 2) schools 3) family-friendly atmosphere 4) proximity to Nashville (for husband's commute to Belmont). We have one child entering kindergarten and an almost-2-year old. We are most seriously considering Franklin, but wondering about the more affordable areas of Nolensville that feed into Williamson County Schools, and Silver Stream is at the top o that list.

Any thoughts on the advantages/disadvantages to Nolensville vs. Franklin?

Thanks in advance!

After all of our research and searching for homes, I've found that Nolensville is a nice looking area with very good schools, provided you make sure you're in the Williamson County side. There is a part of it that goes into Rutherford County, so make sure you watch for that. If you go to Nolensville you'll get more and newer house for your money than Franklin and everything is still close to it (shopping, etc). The only thing we've run into is that we'd like a basement in our home and in Nolensville, it's not gonna happen. Apparently it's very rocky there. Silver Stream is a lovely neighborhood, we are actually gonna use that builder (Fox Ridge Homes), but in Mt. Juliet instead. A great place to look up schools is www.schoolmatters.com; this helped me a lot to narrow down the areas I even wanted to look. Hope this helps and good luck!

Thank you so much for the insight! I'm going to post the same basic question over on the Nashville board. Does Silver Stream have green space or walking trails? What kind of commute will it be from Silver Stream into Belmont U.?

Sorry it took so long to respond, but we just moved and the computer was with the movers. We just moved from Oklahoma, so I don't know where Belmont U is. I know that Silver Stream will have walking trails and common areas and a pool; I don't think all those things are finished yet but they are in the works!
