I am trying, for the life of me, to figure out what you're asking. You want the scoop on what? Highway conditions? Restaurants? Traffic? Movie theaters? Real estate prices? Jobs? Weather? Property tax rates? Schools? Salaries? Shopping centers? Our picks in the NCAA basketball tourney??

Ok, ok....good point. Sorry about that. I am possibly relocating to Huntsville, AL....but i often hear this area referred to as "The Tennesee Valley Area"...geograpically speaking how far is TN from Huntsville? Does anyone commute to/from these areas? Again, thanks.....And Oh yeah.....I'm a Gator but The Vols shoulda definitely won last night! You guys owned Ohio.

There are also some pretty places right near Huntsville, but then that's not Tennessee. You're here because you want info about TN, and the areas closes to Huntsville are Lincoln County/Fayetteville, and the Ardmore area over by I-65. Fayetteville is a cute little town, but for any culture you will be back in Huntsville. Also the schools are quite good there, and that's a big plus because Alabama is having some serious school funding problems the past few years due to insanely low property taxes. That may be good if you have no kids, though. |

It's only called the Tennessee Valley area because of the Tennessee River, which makes a big U-shape from East Tennessee down into Alabama and then back up to Tennessee again.
