Ouch, that one hurts. A LOT of industry has left Greene County in the past few years, and I guess it's gotten worse in the past few months.

revolutionary1492 is on a distinguished road
Lightbulb What everyone else in this thread has wrong

Perry County lies along the Tennessee River in Western Tennessee and is adjacent to Lewis County (which I think the newest projections show as having the second highest unemployment in the state). And NO!!! there are not a lot of robberies here. They both have very low crime rates. THE PROBLEM WITH THE HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT RATES IN LEWIS AND PERRY COUNTIES IS THAT EVERYONE CARES TOO DARN MUCH ABOUT THE SUBDIVISIONS AND BIG CITIES!!!! These are hurting and overlooked people, and nobody cares about these small towns because they have little representation. AND I'M SICK OF IT!! Plans for the completion of four-lane Highway 412 which runs through Perry and Lewis Counties would help out the economy of both communities greatly, but THE PLANS HAVE BEEN ON TDOT'S DESK FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS!!!

I am asking any of you who read this to please talk to senators or the governor about helping out these places. Please!! They are dying!
