Tennessee everywhere
Funny thing,
Now, that we are actually preparing for our move, everywhere we go is Tennessee.
My husband turned on the tv, and up popped Dolly Parton singing about coming to Tennessee, he'd never seen that commercial before.
Yesterday at work, this young man came into the Post Office, to his window.
When he opened his mouth to speak, my husband asked where he was from, and wouldn't ya know, he's from East Tennessee.
We are seeing Tennessee on billboards, trucks, license plates, magazines.
We never noticed any of it before, and now, here it is.
Funny, huh?

LOL!!!
I know what you mean, but I believe it is a physiological effect. Think back to when you were pregnant, didn't it seem like EVERYONE was pregnant at the same time? When you bought a car, didn't you start seeing the same brand car all over the place?
Then again, it could just be the man upstairs sending his unknowing angels to tell you you are making the right choice.
Or for those who are un believers that are reading: It is the cosmic universes way of telling you the stars are aligned in your favor on this move.
LOL!!!!

Funny, peolpe whom my husband and I ask about Tennesee speak so well of it.I seem also to be speaking with more folks with knowledge of the south or from the south. When I tell them we want to move there they say I will love it.So any positve words are being drawn right in me, So keep feeding me with the great words !I am taking it all in look forward to go....

No, no cosmic whatchamacallit beckoning us...
It's the Lord, you got it right. LOL..
A lot of prayer has gone into this move.
We wanted to move before, only we were going to move back to Idaho.
It was a total disaster.
My husband got his transfer, but, the house didn't sell, and he had to keep turning his transfers back in, and we would wait for the next one.
I had to keep my house super clean 24/7, cause we didn't know when a Realtor would pop in at the last minute.
I was totally stressed.
When we took the house off of the market and my husband turned back in the transfer, we were so much at peace.
This time, I'm not stressed, I am taking everything in stride.
If my husband gets his transfer first, then, he and my youngest son will go on ahead.
If the house sells first, then, my little girl and I will go on ahead.
We have a different Realtor, and she's really optomistic.
She had some real positive things to say about the house.
Today, I am painting the bathroom.
It's starting to look real good. It looked good before, but, it looks even better now... LOL..
Everything is falling into place, whereas, the last time, it was awful.
We also decided not to tell anyone that we were moving, until we actually were. The last time, when we didn't move, people would say, I thought you were moving to Utah... we'd correct them, with Idaho.
Oh, is that where they grow corn? No, potatoes.
Iowa grows corn.
For the most part, the few people that we have told, have been very positive.

Tennessee was our choice after looking at North Carolina and Georgia. We
fell in love with the ruralness of the area, lots of water, mild winters, foothills, waterfalls, people say "hello", .....I've lived in Central Florida for 51 years and one thing I can say is "Adios!"
(a good word to know if you are in Florida as spanish is quickly taking over english)

LOL, what I think is funny is that my family knows that I want to relocate to TN and yes I keep seeing TN everywhere, but they do too!!! They aren't the ones who are moving. They keep telling me things they are seeing. LOL.
