Smile Shelbyville Information Needed

Hello,
I will be relocating to Tn, this summer. I am interested in the middle or western area, due to my son's allergies, we are moving out of the mountains here in Ky. I am very familar with Gatlinburg and that area but to many mountains. I've been told Middle and western Tn would be easier on my sons allergies?? I have read some of the discussions about Shelbyville and it sounds promising. I am looking for a small town, with access to larger city, within an hours drive. I love arts, crafts and antiques, and am looking for a town that offers a lot of those. I hope to open up my own little shop in the town. I need a nice home with about 10 to 20 acres. My son will be a Sophmore, need a nice school, either private or Christian preferalby, but a small public would be okay. A nice Baptist church that really gets involved with the community would be great. My elderly parents will be with us, they love fishing. Would appreciate any suggestions or information so very much. Thank you.

I think someone has given you the wrong information. I'm no expert on this but I don't think Tennessee would be the place to go to avoid allergies. If anything, I would think Tennessee would be higher than the national average due to the number of flowering plants and trees.

If you still want information on the middle Tennessee area, let us know and some of us will be glad to provide whatever information we can.

My allergies are a lot better since moving here. I guess it just depends on what you're allergic to.

I sent you a P.M. with some info daisy.

Thank you Alleycat. The allergy doctor told me that there really no place where my son wouldn't have some allergies. So, I love TN, and I'm hoping the open, flatter land will help some what. Thank you for your information.
