KansasDB is on a distinguished road
Default Savannah

Please tell me what Savannah is like. Are there places to rent there? May be moving to that area for a job. Is there a hospital? What is the closest larger town for things a person might need that you can't find there?
Thanks!

If you mean Savannah, Tennessee, it's the Hardin County seat and roughly about 100 miles east of Memphis. I have been there lots of times but most of it was in years past. Pretty town, decent size, in the heart of an ag area and quite nice. Don't really know about the hospital because I never had reason to look into it, but I'm sure they have one. The town is on or near the Tennessee River and just north of Pickwick Lake and the TVA hydroelectric dam and the Shiloh Civil War battlefield park. Terrific area if you like the outdoors, especially boating and fishing at Pickwick or on the river. The next larger town is Corinth, Mississippi (I once lived there), which is not far south of Pickwick Lake. Jackson TN is a little farther away to the northwest, but it's one of the state's largest cities. I hope this helps some.
