Default Things To Do In Clarksville Over Easter Weekend?

Just curious if there are going to be any activities or restrictions on activities over the Easter weekend in Clarksville? I see through the paper's online addition that the easter egg hunt is done but what if anything else will be going on say Friday evening through Saturday night? Our kids get out of school at noon on Friday and we want to get out of town for a couple days. We plan to spend at least part of Saturday at Fort Campbell as neither the husband or I have been there since we were tiny [late 70's early 80s] and the girls obviously have never been there at all.

Also, what would be the best hotel to stay in at this time? I know last year the Holiday Inn Oak Grove was getting the best reviews on the travel sites but there will be 2 adults and 3 kids and alot of Holiday Inns don't like that many people in 1 room.

Few different activities in Oak Grove and Clarksville, but not well advertised. The best location as a family to stay would be off Exit 4 which is closer to the restruants and Chuckie Cheese.

mkat321 - I am thinking you are ok with that number of people. I work at a hotel and its not that we dont like that many people in a room.. its we get restricted at a certain point because of fire code. I just cant remember the exact numbers right now. I want to say its either 5 or 6 to a room. As long as you are quiet you most likely wont hear anything from the staff (unless someone complains).

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Oak Grove on a couple of occasions. We liked staying there. I have not heard my family say anything that is going on this weekend, but knowing the area there more than likely is. Check out the local paper (the leaf chronicle) website and got to the Go! section.
