moving to tennessee this summer
need info on rent to owns in the chattanooga area within 30 miles. Also jobs at bcbs-if anyone knows what they have advertised is available or if they are stockpiling resumes. Have worked in insurance for 8 years.

We just came from Chattanooga...having driven up from Ft Lauderdale, and researched different areas to with the intention of renting first. Check out the "visiting chattanooga & knoxville....need help" thread for info

Rentals
Check the classifieds in the Chattanooga Times Free Press. That is Chattanooga main paper. (timesfreepress.com) However if you would like to save a little money and the 20- 30 driving difference is not a problem, you may be better off to rent outside of the Chattanooga area. Rent for an unfurnished house or apt. starts at $800 there.

We found 2/2 apts with 1400 sq feet near signal mountain for about $700
|

Anyone should jump on that deal!! Signal Mtn. is a great area and the driving distance from there to downtown Chattanooga, where BC/BS is located, is only 15-20 min.
