Unhappy News, Air Evac Lifeteam to close Crossville base.
Area members of Air Evac Lifeteam received a surprise letter in their mailbox April 16, as the air medical transport company, which has had a base in Crossville since early 2005, announced that the Crossville base on South Main Street will close in late May.

So if I'm reading this correctly, in essence this means....(as we were planning to sign up due to being so far out) we could still sign up, but their air evac base is way away now, meaning in case om emergency it'll take far longer, right?! Ain't that something now.... :-(
