Does anyone know about the Hwy 52 yard sale from Orlinda to Celina? I think it's scheduled for May 15 & 16. I've never been to it, but we are thinking about going this year if it's worthwhile.

The Hwy 127 yard sale last year was awesome. We've made plans to attend it again this year and have made overnight reservations in Crossville. It's scheduled for August 6-9. If you enjoy that sort of thing, you will love going to this one!

There's another one that weekend (Weekend after Mother's Day) that runs from Mississippi to Virginia along Hwy. 11

They call it "antiue alley" but the definition of "antique" is very loose.

Thank God the 127 yardsale is only three days now... It's not fun living next door to a flea market, not to mention the traffic.

We went to the hwy 52 yard sale on Friday. Maybe because it was on Friday and not Saturday, but there didn't seem to be many participants. I guess a lot of them were at work on Friday and will drag out stuff for Saturday. Also, I think this is a relatively new project. We drove all the way from Celina to Orlinda. The drive is very scenic and pleasant. I only heard one car honking at another, and that driver was a young chap with not much patience..lol.
