Question Wanting to Move

Deperate to get "Home"
I grew up in Nicholasville, Ky and ended up moving to Michigan about 9 years ago, and I want to get out of here so bad!!!!!! I want to get back to a place where I am not the only one with an accent! I don't want to hear the thumping of bass systems in cars, see teenagers with thier pants around thier ankles(who knew showin' yer skivvies would be "cool") Actually hear people say "yes ma'am" and "yes Sir" and THANK YOU!! I am only 27 so its not like I am talking about the 1950's South.
My husband and I have been wanting to move to Eastern Kentucky/Tennessee since we met 4 years ago. All we need is a job for him, and we can pack up! Its to the point where when we pass the highway we have to not look at it, cause we are wanting to hop on and head South, somethin' fierce!

My husband is a Carpenter. He was a Superintedent for 10 years and when the housing market fell in 2007 (3 months after we got married) He lost his job. He is working now, but we want to get outta Dodge!
I am a Southern girl stuck in the North! We are Catholic Christians, we are pretty conservative, but we love to pass a jar every now and then. We are the type that feel we were born 100 years late! We have common sense (something totally lacking in today's world!)

Are there Catholic Churches in rural Eastern Kentucky/Tennessee?

Does anyone know if there are needs for a Carpenter whom is highly skilled?(not just sayin' that cause he's my hubby, but he is damn good!)

Could he make it on his own if he were to work for himself?

Please can anyone help?!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

PS: I hope I did this right SmokyMtnGal.
