Tinman, I'm so glad you posted this. I am hopeing to be up there in July and wanted to know where there would be fireworks.

You might also want to check out the Smithville Fiddlers' Jamboree. It's July 3-4. You could go see some awesome fiddling, local crafts, and clogging on July 3 then go see fireworks in Sparta on the 4th.

Recycling in Sparta, TN or Crossville TN?
Thanks for the events calendar, it has been very helpful. We just moved to Sparta, TN. For those of you who know the area, we are 20 minutes outside the town limits, in between Sparta and Crossville. We take our garbage to a transfer station about 2 miles from our house, but the guy there knows of no recycling.
Is there a place in Sparta or Crossville that I can bring my plastic, glass and aluminium cans to, so that they can be recycled?
