Agreed. Real earthquakes in east TN? Laughable. I mean, don't get me wrong, maybe we will get a freak huge earthquake but I believe that could happen in many places. I'd be more worried about a wildfire starting in the thousands of acres of forests here and engulfing my home.

"They" say the New Madrid fault is due another 'big one' at any time. That's why western TN is more cautious i guess. The last huge one was in 1811 or 1812, if memory serves.
