East Tennessee Earthquakes
"The Eastern Tennessee Seismic Zone is considered one of the most active earthquake areas in the Southeast, meaning quakes can occur at anytime in the region. More than a dozen small quakes have been measured across East Tennessee over the last eight months."
Charming...and we have nukes.
Here's the whole article about 4 quakes in three days:

I don't know anyone in the Nashville area that has earthquake insurance (and as you are probably aware Nashville is in Middle TN). I guess the seismic activity is greater in E. TN.
I assume everybody in E Tn has or is getting insurance. But I don't personally know anyone in E Tn.

Just found this is sooooo cool. Google Earth if you have and if not it's free. Takes about 6-10 min for download. Now has earth quake real time information. Once you load Google Earth or Update you can go to this site Latest Earthquakes: Feeds & Data and download information on Earth Quakes that will be added to your Google Earth.... shows magnitude ~ location ~ depth.

All those earthquakes, I live in Knoxville and never felt a thing. Those little tremors are felt the world over, almost constantly. Bought a house a year ago, and no one mentioned buying insurance, including my agent. Sorry, but give me a break.
