Cookeville TN Information.
Help: I’m looking for 1-10 acres due South, Southeast and Southwest of Cookeville please, no more than 20 minutes time frame drive to Cookeville TN., land to build a house on. No subdivision, some restrictions ok, no mobile homes, chickens, hogs etc. Exhausted four realtors in the area. Looking for other sources of information... I went to Cookeville & looked around Baxter, Algood, Monterey (Cumberland Cove) area and Buck Mountain Rd back in Dec 2008. Now I will be making the summer trip very soon and see the area in the green.Need name, location, and POC and phone numbers for property search DM me please. Note: Cumberland Cove is a nice area but not the view I’m looking for.
Thank you for your time,

TN isnt Burger King. You will be hard pressed to find land not in a subdivision/development where you can dictate restrictions.

Level homesite, surrounded by beautiful long distance views of Tennessee Mountains and scattered trees on property. Like Cherry Creek RD South of Cookeville TN.

Ok I am utterly confused.
Where are you from?
Unless you want a gated subdivision, most places will allow hogs and chickens and mobile homes. Hey, this is Tennessee ya know? Most realtors are usually born and bred here and know every inch of these places and backroads upon backroads. I don't understand why they cannot find your critera if it exsists. There's tons of property all over the place and if they don't have it, then move on to another area. Try more realtors. Simple as pie? Good luck.

I’m from Memphis TN and have been working all over the world for DOD for the last 32 years. I have been looking around middle TN for a place to live for about a year now. I’m ok with the light restrictions with purchasing a tract of land. This protects the seller and the buyer, because most of the time there are many tracts of land they are trying to sell also. You would be surprised what realtors don’t know about the local area. I have been surprised myself as to not being able to find a tract of land to build a house on. You would be very surprised about how many realtors I have contacted and have not gotten a reply at all. I have found the town I would like to be part of and I will keep looking for that special place around Cookeville TN. What I was looking for was some help other than a realtor. Other sources of information concerning for sale by owner or someone could see something nice that is for sale and DM me with the information. Not a simple task as it sounds.

The land off Cherry Creek Road is one of the most beautifull areas around (Dry Valley). Better access to I-40 and Cookeville. Level area to build on, long distance views of Tennessee Mountains. Don't like driving North of Cookeville too many up & down the Mountain side with no guard rails was a no go for the wife.
