From Michigan thinking of Tennessee
Hi. I am currently living in Michigan and am thinking of moving to TN. Anyone from Michigan down there?

Read the forum. Half of your state is moving to the South.Many to TN.

Yeah my sister-in-law is from Michigan. I Cant remember where though. I think an hour from Detroit. |

I'm from Michigan and love it in Tennessee. Please don't tell me you're from the s.e. section of Michigan. Everyone from Michigan that I have met here is from that area. I'm not. Would never move back to Michigan.

Hello, Frankie2. In the 12 years that I've lived in Tennessee, I've met more people from Michigan than I could possibly recall.

While I generally don't like perpetuating stereotypes, I will say that most of the people I've met from Michigan seem to be really nice. I have several students here from Michigan and several friends in Knoxville and Cookeville from Michigan, and they all seem so genuinely happy to be here.
I take a lot of trips to China and France, and when I do, I try to get a layover in Detroit rather than New York because I've found the people at the Detroit airport to be so much friendlier.

Hi,
I live in Saugatuck Michigan - across the lake from Chicago. I just interviewed in Goodlettsville tn (10 miles N. of Nashville) Where are you moving? I am having a hard time chosing between this area of TN and columbia SC.
