**** didn't send me here, I was already here for a few months, before I saw it mentioned by someone else on here. Just figured I would try it out and see what it said. It also mentioned alot of areas in NC (been there, done that, high taxes), MD (same), and some places out west (too far from the kids and grandkids).

What decided us on TN? Southwest Airlines flies into Nashville, and it's a 9 hour drive from the Pittsburgh area to the area of TN we will most likely move to, no state income tax, green, green GREEN (not brown like out west), mountains (not flat like TX), lower cost of living, longer working season for the hubby (construction), friendly people, mostly Conservative and all around just a nice place with nice folk!

TriDad - well, I don't have a bluetooth, don't have a greentooth, or yellowtooth, let alone a jawbone thingie, and I've no idea what a Sony whatchamacallit DSC is, even tho I almost worked at the Sony plant in New Stanton PA, but the commute was too far for the wages, let alone the 12 hr shift so sorry folk - no video while driving or not driving from me, but am hoping to pick up a cheapo laptop by then, so can communicate and hopefully have internet access at the hotels.

You know, when cell phones first came out, it was puzzling to see these people walking around holding a box to their heads and talking. This lady walked out of the dressing room in a store, talking, but no one was with her - I thought she was nuts! Now, they have these jawbone thingies that look like something from Star Trek, it's startling to see someone walking around seemingly talking to themselves and not holding a cell phone to their heads. First time I saw that, I thought they were talking to me - they were looking at me, so I answered them, but they sure weren't talking to me! LOL! I think they just flew right on past the Dick Tracy wristwatch phones and into Star Trek!

Ok - enough giving away my age....
