Default Johnny Cash's House

The house where Johnny Cash lived for forty-something years burned down this afternoon. I believe the house had been bought by one of the Bee Gees and was being renovated.

That's a shame. The list of visitors included everyone from presidents to famous musicians and entertainers.

Yep, Barry & Linda Gibb bought it last year and was having renovations done.

A few exterior scenes were filmed at the house, but from I understand the interior scenes were not.

I hope the Gibbs build another house on that site.

I just really glad that all of the antiques and heirlooms were not in the house. It was a HUGH house with 3 levels and when June and John lived there, it was packed to the brim with priceless items. I don't know where they put all of June and John's things after they died but it would have to be an enormous building. I hope that their things will be put into a museum so that they can be enjoyed by their fans.
