Default Dickson County, TN

My husband and I are looking to move to the Nashville area. We found a property in Dickson County that we really like. Seeing as we're from central KY, we don't really know that area... Can anyone shed some light on Dickson County? What are the people like? Crime rates? Etc...

Any and all advice will be much appreciated!!

Thanks!

It must be against the law to have tail lights and drive sober in Dickson County.

I lived in Dickson County (in the Burns area) for five years before moving back to my hometown in Henry County. The people that I met in Dickson County were very friendly and down to earth. Crime rates in certain areas are higher, but like with any community, you have your areas of drugs, burglary, etc. You could check The Dickson Herald for their rundown of police reports. They publish on Wednesday and Friday, and usually update their website on that day.
