Default Question about Dyersburg, Tn

We're coming up from Texas this weekend to visit family in Dyersburg. I was curious if there were any good ponds or small lakes in or around Dyersburg where we could do a little Bass fishing from the bank. Thanks

I'd say to not mess around and to just go ahead and rent a boat for a day at Reelfoot Lake a little bit north of there:

TN State Parks: Reelfoot Lake State Park

Excellent bass fishing, and some nature trails for the non-fisherman. Trivia: they also filmed part of the movie U.S. Marshals in the Reelfoot Lake swamps.

reelfoot lake about 30 minutes north is about the only one. there's others but they're private neighborhoods so good luck fishing from the banks, let alone for bass.

There are a few ponds and watersheds here and there, but I would strongly suggest that you check out Reelfoot. Its a beautiful lake, and you can spend all day just sight seeing there.
