Unemployment rate and Lewis County, TN
The new unemployment rate for Lewis County(Hohenwald) is 18.5%!!!! This isn't a recession; this is a DEPRESSION. This community is choking to death and has been for some years, but I just don't understand why the government continues to overlook this. And for anyone in Lewis County listening... PLEASE Urge our local officals to tackle this and bring this to the face of the state government!! There is currently not a single full-length four lane in the county nor an industry that employs 50 or more people.
