I have found that the best response to them is none. They grow tired of having no one to argue with and go somewhere else.

That is not the case on CD. The Florida forums address real problems that people should know about. There is a difference between whining and being over-taxed, losing your HOA insurance etc.

That is the beauty of CD- people get real information. It is not a chamber of commerce PR ad with smiley faces. That is life.

I beg to differ. There are forums on this site where you will find these types of people. Do a search for ronniejonez and read his idiotic rants about Iowa.

And to answer NCG in the post after this - no, I wasn't. there are some very nasty people hanging out in some of the forums here. Just not the TN forum. Gotta love the ability to edit!

I read your profile and noticed Nature and History.

Have you been watching the Planet Earth series? Absolutely amazing! We ordered the DVD set so we can watch it again. Should be really nice after our current TV gives out (very, very close) and we replace it with a big screen. Yet another two month research project. Just finished replacing the washer/dryer and I'm starting to look for a new vehicle.

Does it ever stop?

Which brings me to another reason this is a cool forum. People get caught up in side conversations and no one seems to mind.

Yes I have!!!! I just loved the one with the base jumping into vertical caves.....can you say crazzzzzzzzzzzy people. Yes it's an awesome series. No it never stops unless you move into a cave and live by firelight and kill your own food and throw everything else away Hmmmmmmmmm!! Maye not so bad an idea
