I unfortunatley have to wait for not this summer but the following one to move there, but plan on visiting there this summer.I would like it seems the town as we live near water now, and we LOVE the mnts, so t has the best of both worlds.....I cant wait to visit.Oh, can you swim in the lake? I drive through Dandridge every week. It's a beautiful little town. It's growing rather quickly. I don't live there, I live in Sevierville. Some friends of mine live there, just north of I-40. Since they are both in the real estate investment business I'm to assume that the location they chose is a good one. It is really centrally located. You can even head the other direction to Morristown where there is a mall.

Pretty neat little town, I live in the neighboring town of White Pine (also Jefferson County) and was born here. The people there are good. Golf Course at one end and lake property throughout. Across the green bridge you get to Muddy Hollow, highly desired and better than name suggests. I-40 is minutes away where White Pine & Dandridge meet of just past JCHS is Exit 417 off I-81. Newport which has some excellent resturants like Grease Rack and others along with Lowes (Jeff City ) also has Lowes moving in soon. There is a resturant called Dandridge Seafood, Cowboy's Seafood & The Point Resturant, all excellent. In Baneberry Angelos 2.

Thank you very much for the info, I read about cowboys seafood and the onine menu, just cant see myself eating "frog legs" though
