Default did you get any answers for boarding?

I would google veteranarians in the area and call them. They might board little kitty or tell you who would.

If they do boarding, I know their staff is very friendly and affectionate to the pets. I wouldn't go to any other vet in town.
As for a kennel I would go to Bed and Biscuit or Obed Kennels. Bed and Biscuit just expanded, but I haven't seen the new facility. Obed just built new kennels, but there is a lot of construction going on around her place, due to the new road going in.
Also, Bed and biscuit has a bigger staff so your kitty is more likely to get the attention she deserves.

If you prefer not to board, why not check out vet's bulletin boards for a "cat mommy" (pet sitter) a person who comes to your house, feeds, waters, plays with the cat and even cleans the litter box. Pet sitters are usually licensed and bonded and their fees can be more reasonable than boarding.. Can't speak for particular place in Tennessee, but it may be worth a look.
