YES!!! The drive on Hwy 70 through Dry Valley just east of Cookeville is soooo beautiful, particularly in the fall.

First of all, it's "Bahhhstin," Bubba.

Second, construction must be REALLY slow in Florida!

bitter about too many ppl moving here? absolutely. but i am a little relieved that more and more are focusing on tn now than fla. i certainly dont have anything to be bitter about that.

i feel bad for those in tn though, b/c they invaded us, now they are headed your way. maybe one day we will all have to move to montana to get some space!!!

But after reading some of these threads for TN, it's no wonder people want to move to TN because people who live in TN are just swimming in their own glory of broadcasting it and attracting others who want someplace like that to live? I mean you go to the FL forum and read some of these threads and tell me it makes you want to move here. It's all negative. Really i think you all need to keep hush hush about what a great place it is to live in otherwise your just going to create exactly what you all don't want. You can expect others to come join your community and make it another built up city most people as well as myself want to get away from but don't be complaining about it afterwards when all people are reading about is how great TN is.

What then should this City-Data Forum, Tennessee be used for?

what i think she means is, before, everyone was moving from up north down to fla. many of us floridians became annoyed, and some moved away. now the trend is heading to tn, and she doesnt want this to happen there. i think this is what she is saying...

Yes thanks for the clear up of that. It's just i've been on here and so many people are saying they don't want TN to become another FL yet people go on and on and on about what a great place it is to live, this and that blah blah blah. What do you expect, people are going to read all this stuff and check it out and all of sudden your going to be complaining that too many people are coming in. Don't get me wrong, this is what the forums are about for helping people but gosh, your all just opening up yourselves for the swarm of people looking for the same thing.
