As for the drivers licenese test, basically you take a written test, possibly an eye exam, then a road test. Neither one is particularly hard. Most of the time, the road test is short. You show you can operate a vehicle safely and obey the traffic laws. You have to bring proof of who you are, your age, and maybe where you reside (I'm not exactly sure; it's been a long time since I've taken a drivers test).
