Didn't someone here recently ask about jobs for retired military?

I saw this article in today's paper. It looks like Tennessee is going to pilot a program for the nation to provide more technically-trained but soon-to-be retiring military non-commissioned officers the chance to earn a fast-track college degree while helping fill the region’s science and technology workforce needs.

Recognizing that there will be a lot of NCOs retiring from the military over the next five years, the program, NEW-STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), will take these highly skilled and trained NCOs, fast-track them for a degree and then offer technology jobs and math/science teaching jobs to help fill workforce needs in the area.

At the end of the newspaper story is a name and telephone number if you are interested.
