Hello all, please advise what kind of law suits and issues you are having because I am now beginning to worry about the land we have up in Wilder. We have made a couple of trips in the past two years and see a lot of development and took that a good thing. Please advise if there is anything we need to be on the look out for. Thanks and have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday !

Wilder Mountain?
I'm curious about problems on Wilder Mt too!We have not had problems yet.But have not tried to build yet either. Our 5 Acres on Wilder is still as it was when we purchased, except when they were working on the right of way and took down what I had assumed were our trees. That made me ill.The trees were why I picked our site. Can anyone elaborate re:Wilder issues?

I have done some background and research on these alleged law suits for fraud at this particular development and have found nothing related to Wilder Mountain. This does not mean there are none, only that I haven't found any.
Before people get too excited you should keep in mind that when people post things like this without providing any specifics or details that more often than not you have someone trying to discredit an organization for their own various reasons.
If you have any questions or concerns you may just want to call the developer and ask them.

Good point, however I don't think calling the developer would get you the most credible info but a call to that counties court house/tax assessor/county clerk/police dept/etc. offices might get you some more accurate info.
Just a thought.

I tend to give folks the benefit of the doubt and often when you ask people a question directly they will provide an honest answer. However you are correct and might want to add the Fentress county Chamber of Commerce as well.

Do you know that a human skull was found in Wilder recently while these developers were bulldozing caves and boulders to put in the promised roads to your building sites. I wonder if that bit of info will be investigated or hush hushed under the rug!

Just visited Wilder Mountain spent the day and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Stopped by and visited Audrey at the office. She has got to be one of the nicest people I have ever met.

There is a lot of building here in Wilder, however before you sign a contract with any builder be sure they are FULLY Insured and licensed in the state of TN as a residential builder and not working under another builders license!!!! Also check with the state to see if they have and complaints filed against them. Also make sure that the monitary limit is above what you are looking to build....you would be surprised how most folks don't even do their homework before making a decision on a builder.
