You want to see rain, come to New England. When it's nice it's nice, but when it rains, and it rains often, it's not just a quick shower. These systems stall over the Northeast for days. I remember a couple months ago we had two weeks straight of rain. Of course, this year has been record setting as far as rain goes.

Actually Fla. gets more rain per year than TN. does. It just comes heavier when it does..
